Reunions

It is hard to believe that its been 25 years since we were students at Mount Vernon Nazarene College (now MVNU). On November 12, 2022, we once again gathered together to celebrate this period of time and recall the memories that each of us had.

Since the internet went mainstream with us as freshmen, it was only fitting that we utilize it to make this reunion one for MVNU Homecoming history. Our event had a carefully curated music play list formulated by our class thru a Facebook poll that is available here:

Those of us who geographically could gather together in-person, met up with our fellow classmates that live in other parts of the country and world via meeting stations appropriately named as:

After mingling a bit and catching up with each other, our surprise guest arrived to our blended reunion. Dr. Lebron & Anne Fairbacks arrived via the power of Zoom to share in the day’s festivities. We, as a class, collectively shared our memories as a class family. At one point, we watched a reunion slide show below (click play below to view) that was curated from all of our submissions:

Following the slideshow, we ALL participated in class trivia with opportunities for both those who were in-person as well as those attending virtually to win prizes.

We also took time to remember those in our class who are no longer with us. Prior to the day of the reunion, we had a fundraiser in which t-shirts & sweatshirts were sold.

Proceeds of this class fundraiser along with MVNU’s Day of Giving match allowed our class to raise $1,166.67 going towards the memorial scholarship funds of our choosing:
